Spring

Hello there, friends. It's been a while since we last spoke, but life moves fast and I know we've all been busy. I took some time off this space to reflect and expand other areas of my life — a Canoe sabbatical, if you will. Just a few months after moving into my beautiful new studio, I took a unique opportunity that kept me fully occupied. It was a whirlwind of growth and a chance to look out from the opposite side of the mirror.

I'm on the other side of that journey now, and ready to walk back into this space again. I've been thinking a lot about intentionality, and how I want to approach my studio practice. That's really what Canoe is to me — my art practice. I've always run my business based on what I want to make and see in this world. I will continue to do that, just further distilled. This space will shift and what I do/share here will adjust accordingly. I'm taking more of my life offline so I can focus on being present and enjoying it.

I went to Italy for two weeks, had my mind blown away by beauty, and didn't share any of it on social media. Felt damn good.
