Happy new year, friends! I've taken time off from the blog to focus on some important projects, including days spent trying my hardest to do nothing but loaf around, watch movies, read, and cook good meals. I relish these moments when I can stand still and just enjoy. We've been working on the launch of Salt & Time Butcher Shop and Salumeria, our brick-and-mortar shop (opening so, so soon). 2013 has many big things in store for us, but the first on that list is realizing the dream my husband had many years ago to open a butcher shop in Austin. We moved here in 2009 with that goal, and it is coming together so well now that it takes my breath away. But there is still a lot to do, so I just wanted to pop in now and say hello, you look fabulous and well rested, and I'll be back here soon to talk more about leather and design and new projects coming up.
