She started the company with her fellow leatherworkers when the business they were working for, Wrangler Western Accessories, took it's production overseas. Mitzi saw an opportunity to continue doing what she loved with talented makers and took a chance. She's making beautiful goods and is a big inspiration for Canoe. Always good to remember that taking chances pays off.
