A Visit to Cobra Rock Boots

While I was visiting Marfa, I made sure to visit the beautiful workshop of Cobra Rock Boots. Colt was busy getting ready to perform with his band, Hotel Brotherhood, so Logan and I hung out, talking shop and all things leather. Let me just say that Logan is smart, fabulous, and sweet, giving me recs on other good spots in town and the back story on their equipment. Their spot is just magical, full of wonderful old gear and workhorse machines older than both of us combined. I love visiting other makers to see how they set up their workrooms and compare notes.

I really appreciate that their workroom is right in front for folks to see what goes into making a pair of boots. I love the idea of inviting your customers into the process to share the value of handmade and providing an educational component as well. Thanks, Logan, for the full tour and hope to be back soon!
