Pina

I've had the trailer on repeat in the studio, and the film went beyond my expectations. It is literally breath taking to watch the power of dance to convey emotions. I felt myself swing from fear to joy to laugh out loud laughter at the various characters and scenes. The film, directed by Wim Wenders, showcases the work of Pina Bausch, and is cut with interviews by her dancers recalling Pina and the role she played in their lives. You can't help but walk out of the theater rethinking the way we all move through life and the small gestures and everyday movements we make.
