Liz Miller

art

Liz Miller's multi-media installations have me daydreaming of elegant dioramas mixed with OP board shorts from the 80's. The colors are so bizarre and beautiful, and her shapes remind me of something I can't quite place.

The large installation piece is overwhelming with brilliant shadows and a sense of danger, amidst all the bright colors. If you live in the Denver area, swing by the David B. Smith gallery to experience Recalcitrant Mimesis, which will be up through February 18th.
