This Wednesday evening local Austin artist Callen Thompson will be presenting her last gallery show for the year, "Night Drive," as she moves from being a full time artist to a full time student at the Austin Center for Design. She will be showing new works on paper and a few fabric pieces.

The work in "Night Drive" is an exploration of pattern and texture, from flat forms on paper, to stacks of paintings clipped together forming sculptural wall pieces, to hand drawn patterning on fabric.
